From a young age I’ve had a passion for building and crafting things by hand, and have taught myself carpentry skills, which have now developed to include resin work.
We’re absolutely thrilled with our table. It looks beautiful. The flower in the middle, which was from the rose bush of our last house looks like it’s still growing rather than dried and held in resin. The oak piece was stunning on its own and the blue really enhances it. Tom was great throughout the process, we had a few chats during the design stage and he kept us in the loop as he started crafting it when we needed to make decisions. He also sent updates until we told him to stop and that we’d wait to see the finished table in person. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a piece from a craftsman.
I have just taken delivery of a carefully, handmade, bespoke Walnut coffee table. It is absolutely beautiful! The way Tom has crafted the table allows me to see and appreciate the wood’s natural lines and beauty. The legs are made of darker Sapele wood, which complements the natural earthy tones in the Walnut table top. He has dovetailed all the joints, so everywhere on the table is smooth to touch. A beautiful, well-made work of art that will be treasured! Over the years, Tom has crafted and made several woodworked items for me, including a plaque holder, designed and made a fitted wardrobe in a small space, a wooden trough to hold large planted pots and this coffee table! Tom is meticulously precise with his preparation, checking in with me as the work progresses in order that the end product is just what I want. When he brings the finished item, he is respectful of where he is working and gets it in place with the minimum of disruption to me. Thank you, Tom.
